International Association of Canine Professionals

 Website: www Canineprofessionals.com
Hands down the best association of and for professional dog trainers. Yours truly is an associate member!

Walks N' Wags Pet First Aid

Possibly the most comprehensive educational, valuable and widely available pet first aid course. Having taken these seminars myself, I can truly say it's worth every penny to have in an emergency situation! The Regina Humane Society offers the Walks N Wags pet first aid course bi-annually, presented by long time kennel owner Louise Yates of K-Lane Kennels. Take the class, You won't regret it!

Agility Association of Canada (AAC)

AAC is an agility association open to mixed breeds and pure breeds alike, dogs of all ages and ability can compete, provided they are healthy to do so! We compete with our dogs in AAC agility trials.

Canadian Association of Rally Obedience (CARO)

CARO Rally obedience is a fun sport where dog and owner navigate a series of numbered signs. Each labeled with an obedience exercise to be performed. CARO provides an easygoing venue for those new to Dog sports, treats may be carried and used in the ring in the beginning levels. Izzie compete's in CARO with her dogs and since starting spring 2014, her dog Jackson has earned his Novice Title and  Novice Team.

barn hunt Association

Barn Hunt is a new and growing dog sport where dog's natural hunting abilities are put to the test when they search through courses of straw bales, searching for the rat(safely secured in a tube) and then completing other elements such as tunnelling through and jumping on bales. A fun, easy, and enjoyable sport we are currently enjoying with all of our personal dogs.

GRC DOGSPORTS

A very new dog sport concept that has been brought to fruition by non other than Jay Jack. This sport was developed to test extremely high drive dogs in a variety of elements( G-ameness, R-elationship, C-ontrol) unlike other sports the emphasis is on being a socially responsible owner/handler. Advocating for your dogs is huge in this sport. Named the "IPO for pitbulls" by Jay, once in the advanced levels, dogs compete on treadmill races, wall climb, weight pull, and spring pole events. If your dog lives to tug-they'd love GRC.
