Izzie Keyes, Owner/Trainer

Izzie always dreamed of working with animals, but it wasn't until 2010 when she started working as a kennel attendant at Expressway Kennels, that her dreams gained some direction. Izzie sought out any dog related job or education she could; working in a daycare facility, getting her pet first aid certification, grooming diploma and more. Upon Expressway's closing in 2012, Izzie took it upon herself to fill the void for additional pet care options, opening The Balanced Pack her last day of work at the kennel. Since opening TBP in September 2012, Izzie has become a trusted and sought out dog guru to her clients, friends & colleagues within the industry. With a personal pack of 5 dogs; there isn't a time Izzie isn't immersed in dog behaviour. Izzie loves being able to help 'translate' between dogs and their humans, and help dogs reconnect with their species. "There's nothing more magical than helping a dog come out of their shell and become their best selves with help from the pack" - Izzie Keyes. When she's not travelling the country attending seminars or participating in dog sports with her pack, she can usually be found anywhere fish can be caught. Izzie is beyond passionate about providing top notch pet services in the Regina area and is looking forward to what the next 5 years brings for TBP! Learn More..

Shayla Hagel, Trainer

Shayla's first experience with TBP started as a client, when she brought her dog, Dobby, a 4lb chiweenie home. As he grew, so did his behaviours. Shayla quickly sought out training advice from Izzie, needless to say, she caught the training bug and has been a close part of TBP ever since. Shayla moved back to her hometown of Estevan in 2015. Opening Estevan Dog Trainer shortly after. She has helped countless families in Estevan via her training programs, and in less than a year, quickly established herself as the Go-To Trainer for Estevan dog owners struggling with their dogs behaviour. She has built an awesome business down south and is now bringing her skills back to Regina. Travelling back to Estevan on weekends to help owners in need, and then commuting back to Regina where she lends a huge hand in our daycare operations, as well as taking on a bigger role as Lead Trainer here at TBP. She looks forward to helping even more dogs and their owners back here in Regina. Learn More...

The support and comfort provided by your training is the most important part. In my personal experience you revolutionized my relationship with Nyf.
